An extremely pleasant experience for a first time buyer!

Taylor Runyen and his team at Philadelphia Mortgage Advisors (PMA) were simply remarkable in how they handled completing my loan. I reached out to Taylor with exactly 30 days before I was set to close - I had recently come across a grant known as "K-FIT" which I was eligible for and would save me about 15k in out of pocket expenses - and even though I was already pre-qualified with others', I wanted to see if I could make a last ditch effort to secure the K-FIT grant as it would save me thousands in out of pocket closing costs. I explained my situation to Taylor over the phone that night, and it was evident that he and his colleagues at PMA were capable and experienced in handling the certain loan I would need for the grant. With only 30 days before closing, I was concerned that it was too late, but Taylor assured me they would be able to get it done. After our initial conversation, I left feeling extremely optimistic and hopeful that it would work out. During the process Taylor was diligent in making sure everything was processed in a timely and efficient manner. Moreover, Taylor was an excellent communicator and took the time to explain certain concepts that were foreign to me as a first-time home buyer. Ultimately, everything was pre-approved and set for closing with a week+ to spare before closing. I walked away from closing not having to owe anything - I actually received money back. This was largely in part due to the hard work Taylor and his team at PMA put in to secure the K-FIT grant. Very Helpful and Responsive

I got my first mortgage and refinance done through PMA. They offered the best rate on my first mortgage and the most flexibility on my refinance. Taylor Runyen helped provide a series of options that enabled me to lower my rate with minimal upfront costs. 10/10 would recommend. I've shopped around and no one was as helpful with rates comparable to theirs.

Taylor is amazing! He just helped us refinance an investment property. We were able to drop our APR by 1.25% *without paying any points* which is saving us $250/month on our mortgage and we even got a few bucks back at closing. I spoke to other banks who said it wasn't even worth trying to refinance an investment property, so definitely reach out to Taylor & PMA if you're thinking about this! This was not our first time working with him, as he had helped us purchase a home a few years ago as well. We decided to move when my partner was 7 months pregnant, so you can imagine what a nervous wreck we were at the time. He was so patient with me as I was freaking out about the deal potentially falling through. Plus he brought us delicious foods from whole foods at closing. Top notch experience, and we were so happy to work with him again!

Being a first time homeowner, I was warned the mortgage process was going to be a pain but Taylor Runyen made it seem easy. I could be difficult to deal with and had many questions but Taylor kept it professional throughout the process and addressed all my questions. There were some elements that could have been improved but those were more so the mortgage process related complexities. Unlike another mortgage companies I reached out to, Taylor did not call me a million times after providing me the initial info and waiting until I engaged him.
